We occasionally release updates to our apps when we release a new feature or make a change that requires a mandatory update (force update). In any case no matter what platform this is how to update the apps.
We will tell you when an update is out via push notifications and in the feed section so that you can update the desktop apps with ease, we may issue a force update if necessary but we usually phase out old versions to keep everyone up to date on the latest version.
How to update the Desktop app
Windows
Make sure the desktop app is open and running.
Right click on the Innovation Markets icon in the windows system tray. (Image on the left)
Click "Check for updates".
The app should be downloading the new update.
To confirm the update is downloading, right click the Innovation Markets icon again and it should display "Downloading...."
Once the download is complete, you should see the message "Update ready. Click here to update" (Image on the right)
Click the message to update, the app should restart with the update applied.
Mac
Make sure the desktop app is open and running.
Click on the app name "Innovation Markets" at the top left next to the Apple icon.
You should see a dropdown, click on "Check for Updates" (Image on the left)
The app should be downloading the new update.
To confirm the update is downloading, click on the app name again and the dropdown should display "Downloading...."
Once the download is complete, you should see the message "Update ready. Click here to update" (Image on the right)
Click the message to update, the app should restart with the update applied.
Updating the Desktop app manually
If the above methods of updating fail you can always download the latest version of the desktop app on our website or below.
How to update the app on Mobile
Updating the mobile app is as easy as going to the App Store or Play Store and updating the app from there. In some cases the app is automatically updated to your device.
Click the buttons below to head straight to the app store to download or update the app.
Once we notify you of an update, you can head to the app stores to update the app.
Update Troubleshooting on iOS
Tip: On the iOS App Store it also helps to "Pull to refresh" on the updates screen to fetch the latest updates of your installed apps.
