How do I login into both desktop and mobile apps?

You can be logged into the mobile and desktop app at the same time to receive our notifications and access our content wherever you go, If you've used Discord's QR code login, our system works almost exactly the same way and we'll show you how to do it.

NOTE:

For the sake of brevity, this guide assumes that you are logged into only the mobile app, please see this guide on how to login to the mobile phone.

If you are logged into the desktop app first, please logout then return to this guide.

Requirements

  • Internet connection

  • Active account with Innovation Markets

  • Latest Innovation Markets mobile app (iOS or Android)

  • Mobile phone with a working camera

  • You MUST be logged out of the desktop app (on Windows or Mac)

Login with QR Code

  1. Using your iOS or Android phone, go to the home screen and swipe up.

  2. Tap on Settings on the bottom left corner of the mobile app

  3. Tap on 'Desktop App Login', a QR Code scanner should pop open.

  4. On the desktop, scan the QR code with your phone.

  5. Enter the 5-digit authentication code from your phone to the desktop app.

  6. Press Login and you should be logged into both devices.

Can I login to both my Phone, Desktop and Tablet simultaneously?

You can only be logged into one mobile/tablet device and one desktop only. iPads and other tablets are classed as mobile devices.

I can't scan the QR Code on my phone.

Make sure that:

1. The brightness on your computer is at a reasonable level or (at a higher level) to scan the QR Code.

2. Make sure 'Click to refresh QR Code' is clicked, otherwise it would be hard for you to scan the QR code.

3. Ensure your time settings are the same on both phone & desktop (set to automatic) and is not set 1 hour or 1 day in the past. This is the most common issue.

4. Make sure your camera is working. (Test your camera to scan QR codes)

5. Make sure your internet is also working on both desktop and on mobile.

6. Try restarting the app on the phone, and restarting the desktop app, if not also try logging out and reinstalling the apps.
